The full-scale (1:12) "Abilene", our representation of the modern farmhouse. It features 6 rooms, working double entry doors, working interior doors, large front porch, 2 large bay windows, metal-style roof and exterior styling of board-and-batten with vertical siding.

What comes in the box?

  • Full assembly required!
  • Pieces come unfinished - no paint or stain included.
  • You will need your own glue, tape and tools as described in the instructions.
  • Home kits include framework, windows, doors, stairs, roofing.
  • Some finishes shown for demonstration purposes are not included in the kit such as lighting, flooring & fixtures.

Construction

Our homes are made with the highest grade sustainable woods - no cheap particle board. We utilize "tab and slot" construction to ease squaring the walls and giving added strength. We have gone to great lengths to ensure a smooth build process and provide very detailed instructions and imagery for each step.

Difficulty

Recommended for ages 12 & up. Building this kit will require use of glue & paint, squaring corners and cutting a few wood pieces to length. While we believe all our homes can be enjoyed by children, the build process should be supervised by an adult as there are many small parts that pose a choking hazard.

Abilene Farmhouse 1:12 Scale

When my dollhouse kit arrived, I was taken aback by the size of the box that arrived at my door. To my surprise the beautiful box inside that held my dollhouse was so unexpected and beautifully done. The packaging is as exquisite as the dollhouse kit itself. I am so very happy with my kit and have already begun the building process. So far everything is perfect, and I know I will love this dollhouse for many years to come. So glad to have spotted this house during my google search. Communications during the buying process were exemplary. I strongly recommend Little Vintage Lane, you won't be disappointed. I will leave another review once I have built the dollhouse and have pictures to share.
