The full-scale (1:12) "Potter" outdoor building features large working double entry doors, 1 large room with loft and a windowed area that could be a greenhouse, solarium or whatever your imagination decides! The exterior touches include a peak ornament, metal-style roof and exterior styling of board-and-batten with vertical siding. The roof is removable as well as the front of the building for easy access to decorate!

What comes in the box?

  • Full assembly required!
  • Pieces come unfinished - no paint or stain included.
  • You will need your own glue, tape and tools as described in the instructions.
  • Home kits include framework, windows, doors, stairs, roofing.
  • Some finishes shown for demonstration purposes are not included in the kit such as lighting, flooring & fixtures.

Construction

Our homes are made with the highest grade sustainable woods - no cheap particle board. We utilize "tab and slot" construction to ease squaring the walls and giving added strength. We have gone to great lengths to ensure a smooth build process and provide very detailed instructions and imagery for each step.

Difficulty

Recommended for ages 12 & up. Building this kit will require use of glue & paint, squaring corners and cutting a few wood pieces to length. While we believe all our homes can be enjoyed by children, the build process should be supervised by an adult as there are many small parts that pose a choking hazard.

Wonderful--The Potter 1:12

My kit arrived yesterday, just a week after ordering! Super fast shipping! The packaging was A+++ Little Vintage Lane went above & beyond to provide the utmost beautiful dollhouse/loft/DIY kit! I absolutely could not wait to start assembling my kit; directions were precise and very easy to understand. Amazed!

This kit is so fun and beautiful, not to mention easy to assemble so far. The only thing I would would wish for in future kits would be a video to refer to while building. The book is detailed with wording, photos, tips and even a parts catalog, but it would also be helpful to have that visual walkthrough as a guide to really feel confident that you are moving in the right direction. I also think this is a great starter kit if you have never built a house before. It’s a great size, not overwhelming in hight or width but still flexible with options for decor and style! I truly can’t wait for my Potter to be finished so I can start to decorate! I have a feeling this will NOT be my last kit from Little Vintage Lane, I’m in love! :)
